Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1977. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Washington County Bar Association (secretary, 1982-84). Director, Washington County Criminal Defense Bar Association, 1988-92. Member, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association; Maryland Criminal Trial Lawyers Association; National Council of United States Magistrate Judges; Federal Magistrate Judges Association; Maryland Circuit Judges Association (executive & family law committees).
