Fellowships in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology, Harvard Medical School and Children's Hospital Medical Center, Boston, 1975-77. President, Johns Hopkins Pediatrics at Home, Inc. 1992-96. Vice-Chair for Clinical Affairs, Department of Pediatrics, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, 1994-96 (associate professor of pediatrics, 1984-92; director, division of pediatric gastroenterology & nutrition, 1984-96; professor of pediatrics, 1992-96; director, division of network development & community services, 1995-96). Director, Feeding Disorders Program, Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, 2001-04. Member, American Gastroenterological Association; North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (NASPGN), 1977- (executive council, 1983-92; president, 1988-90); American Academy of Pediatrics, 1977-; American Pediatric Society, 1998; American Medical Association, 2004-; American Society for Gastrointestinal Enoscopy (ASGE), 2009-.
