ENVIRONMENTAL DREDGING
Under Environmental Services and Waste Management Program, renamed Environmental Dredging and Restoration in May 2004 and placed under Technical and Environmental Services.

ENVIRONMENTAL DREDGING & WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Renamed Environmental Services and Waste Management Program in May 1997.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES & WASTE MANAGEMENT

FERTILEGRO MARKETING
In 2004, the Maryland Environmental Service stopped marketing the fertilizer, FertileGro.

Under Environmental Services and Waste Management Program, in May 2004 merged with Engineering Division to form Engineering Services.

RECYCLING
Abolished in April 2006. Functions transferred to Environmental Operations.

RECYCLING PROGRAMS, OIL & CFC RECOVERY
Under Recycling, divided into Recycling Programs and Oil and CFC Recovery and placed under Environmental Operations in April 2006.

SLUDGE & ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING DIVISION
Under Water and Wastewater Program, renamed Sludge Permitting Division in 1997.

TIRE RECYCLING ORGANICS-BAGGING PROGRAM
In May 2004, renamed Recycling.

TIRE RECYCLING PLANT
In Feb. 2008, ceased operation of the crumb rubber-tire recycling plant.

TRAINING
Under Administration, functions transferred to Human Resources in Feb. 2001.

WATER & WASTEWATER PROGRAMS
