In 2007, merged with Emergency Operations to form Emergency Operations and Regional Programs.

TRAUMA FIELD-TRIAGE TASK FORCE
Appointed by State Emergency Medical Services Board:

Bryan E. Bledsoe, D.O.; Thomas Judge; Ellen J. Mackenzie, Ph.D.; William R. Metcalf; John A. Morris, M.D.; Stephen H. Thomas, M.D.

The Trauma Field-Triage Task Force was formed in October 2008 by the State Emergency Medical Services Board. The Task Force met in November 2008 to review the emergency medical protocols and practices used to identify, treat, and transport trauma patients by helicopter to regional hospitals in Maryland. The Task Force recommended changes to current field practices and operations for emergency medical care provided to injured patients before arrival at the hospital.
