Born in Owings Mills, Maryland, June 22, 1934. Attended Franklin High School, Reisterstown; Western Maryland College, B.S. (home economics), 1956. Former teacher, Baltimore County public schools. President, Carroll County Republican Club (3 terms). Chair, Carroll County Republican Central Committee, 1991-92 (member, 1990-94). Member, Maryland Federation of Republican Women. Alternate Delegate, Republican Party National Convention, 1992. Member, Western Maryland Alumni Association. Married; five children.
