President, National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, 1998-99 (former member, board of directors). Member, State Legislative Committee, Maryland Municipal League. Member, Federal Communications Bar Association; Women in Wireless Leadership Forum. President, Women's Suburban Democratic Club. Chair, District 18 Democratic Caucus. Member, Women's National Democratic Club. Board of Directors, Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts; Washington Chapter, Oklahoma State Society. Elizabeth Scull Outstanding Community Service Award, 1994. Two daughters. Died in Washington, DC, November 29, 2007.
