Delegate to Poland and Hungary, American Council of Young Political Leaders, 1993. Member, Ducks Unlimited; National Rifle Association; Maryland Ornithological Society; Nature Conservancy. Charter member, Talbot County Young Republicans. Member, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Participant, Boys State (leadership action program), sponsored by American Legion of Maryland. Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, 1987. Outstanding Academics Award, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, 1989-90 (national leadership school, 1988, 1989). Outstanding Greek Scholar, Salisbury State University, 1989-90. Married; three children.
