Executive Secretary, Westminster Town Center Corporation, 1977-83. Job Development Coordinator, Carroll County Employment and Training Program, 1983-85. Assistant Director, Department of Economic Development, Carroll County, 1985-86. Coordinator of Programs for Business and Industry, 1986-94, and Director of Business and Industry Training, 1994-98, Carroll Community College. Board of Directors, Union National Bank Board, 1995-. Board of Directors, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, 1986-90. Vice-President, Board of Managers, Carroll County Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), 1989, 1990 (chair, government relations committee, 1990). Member, Carroll County Democratic State Central Committee, 1986-90, 1991-94 (chair, 1986-89). Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1988. National and State trainer, American Cancer Society, 1979-84 (Maryland State chair for daffodil day, 1980, 1981). Chair, Auction for the Arts, Carroll County Arts Council, 1981, 1982.
